No flight data leaving the aircraft

Onboard system uploads to the ACMS

The onboard program function utilizes the continuous feed of flight data that takes place within the aircraft Aircraft Condition Monitoring System (ACMS).

The proprietary  program function is uploaded to the non-mandatory part of the ACMS section.  It cannot interfere with any flight operation functions onboard aircraft.

The program function reads flight data in real-time and contains triggers that activate the assessment function during the aircraft stopping run.  All calculations are performed onboard.    Upon the end of the stopping run, reports containing calculation results are automatically created and transmitted by one of the aircraft’s communication systems.

Data transmitted does not contain any information that has bearing upon pilots’ action during the landing  or quality of airmanship.  This is a key aspect important to pilots in allowing information being used.
